官方正式公佈將會推出一個由著名動畫電影《獅子王》(The Lion King) 所引發出嚟嘅全新故事，當中講述「獅子王」辛巴(Simba) 以及娜娜(Nala) 除咗有琪雅拉(Kiara) 呢位女兒之外，佢哋亦有一個仔叫做Kion，而Kion 要喺成長嘅階段入面學識點樣以勇氣同埋智慧去保衛家園。
另外，大家亦有機會喺《The Lion Guard》見到琪雅拉(Kiara)、木法沙(Mufasa)、丁滿(Timon)、彭彭(Pumbaa)、拉飛奇(Rafiki) 以及 沙祖(Zazu) 呢幾位經典角色添！
《The Lion Guard》將於2015年秋季先以電視電影嘅形式喺美國播出，之後會喺2016年初正式啟播相關嘅電視劇集，大家記得留意注「迪士尼頻道」(Disney Channel) 以及「Disney Junior 頻道」喇！

"The Lion Guard will premiere in Fall 2015 as a television movie, with a subsequent series to debut in early 2016 on Disney Junior and Disney Channel. The story begins in the heart of the African savannah, as Kion, the second-born cub of Simba and Nala, assembles a team of his close friends to preserve the Pride Lands. The show will also include special appearances by Mufasa, Timon, Pumbaa, Rafiki, Zazu and Kion’s older sister, Kiara, the future Queen of the Pride Lands. The show will focus on conservation education, the importance of family and community, while also highlighting creative problem-solving skills and diversity."
